- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 8-ounce package pitted whole dates, snipped
- 2-1/2 cups white whole wheat flour or whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tablespoon canola or cooking oil
